Macintosh Open Transport Setup
(Note: if your computer is connected to a LAN, some of these settings may not be appropriate. You should consult with your Network Administrator before making changes.)

Step 1

  1. In the Connect Via pull-down menu select the dialer that you will use for the connection (MacPPP or FreePPP). If these options are not available, make sure that you have MacPPP or FreePPP installed.
  2. Configure should be set to "Using PPP Server"
  3. Click on the Name server Addr. field. Enter 216.174.10.2 hit Return and then enter 216.174.10.6
  4. Click on the Search domains field and enter atxl.net, in lowercase.
Step 2
  1. Close the window. Now you are ready for the next part. You need to configure whichever dialer you chose in the Connect Via pull-down menu. Either MacPPP or FreePPP.
