Macintosh MacTCP Setup
(Note: if your computer is connected to a LAN, some
of these settings may not be appropriate. You should consult with your Network
Administrator before making changes.)
Step 1
- Go to the Control Panels folder (in the System
Folder) and double-click on the MacTCP icon.
- In the top half of the MacTCP dialog box, you
will see one or more icons representing the various network connection
methods available on your system. Select PPP by clicking on it once. Click
on the Mor e button and you should see a screen similar to the one you see
below.
Step 2
- Configure you MacTCP to look like the one
above and your all done!
Step 3
- Once you have configured MacTCP the next step
is to configure your dialer. Select whether you have MacPPP
or FreePPP.
